Ha ha...yesterday I downloaded a picture that I had previously shown...that was because I couldn't get the picture of my blog up, so I had to guess...duh

today I have a butterfly aceo which is listed on ebay at the moment and I have a similar one in my etsy shop. The background was created by dropping inks onto wet paper. I then screwed the paper up, unscrewed it and left it to dry. I then mounted it onto card stock ...cut out a pre printed butterfly and glittered it. Finally added the butterfly to the background paper. I love the colours and have made similar ones in different colourways....

I listed five items altogether.....getting ready now for Halloween.

Caused quite a stir on folksy asking about the baby cartoon. I will not list it if I think anyone would be offended and so I need time to think about what to do.....can't decide...mmm...

been a beautiful day here in South Wales, we had some rain but also quite a bit of sunshine.

more encaustic dolphins today.....created by painting with wax which has been melted onto a special iron.

It has been a lovely day today with sunshine and almost warm....in fact warmer than most of the summer !

Sold four aceos today, so a good day. Had fish and chips from the shop, so no cooking either...can't get much better....short and sweet today as I have invoices to do

today another encaustic painting. This is done by melting wax onto the bottom of an iron and then painting with the iron instead of a paintbrush.I drew a star on the left but it looks a bit like a fairy standing on a blade of grass...what do you think?

I have been painting background papers this evening. I will then mount these onto aceos ready for listing on ebay

It has been warmer today but poured with rain at about 5 pm.....

Yesterday I made this cartoon card for other card makers. It is for sale in my folksy shop http://www.folksy.com/shops/teabreaks

I used to draw a lot of themed cards like this and sell them at craft fairs, so it was fun to do another one.
The earrings have been glittered in gold glitter glue..
Today I hope to do some more card making.
The sun is trying to come out and it seems a little bit warmer than it was yesterday.

Cold today....made me think of snow, so I listed this aceo on ebay.....I don't like to think of snow, but it is fun to paint pictures like this.

I am tempted to put the heating on, but will hang on for a few more days !!

Yesterday I finished this angel painting and put glitter on the wings. The picture is done in watercolours on a 6" x 8" piece of watercolour paper.

I am not sure where I am going to list it yet....watch this space.

I also listed four more aceos on ebay ...so I have 10 paintings listed now.....here's hoping for some sales...!!

Have been to town today...looking for mica paints and inspiration. I have started and angel painting which is looking good so far.
The sun is shining, so I am looking forward to the weekend. There is supposed to be a frost tomorrow...brrr...roll on Spring....lol

another encaustic painting today..... I love the effects that you can get from painting with wax. such vibrant colours and you are never sure what the end product will look like.

The sun is actually shining but there is a definite autumn chill in the air.....the heating will have to go on soon.

another zendoodle today...this one started with a £ sign in the middle and then I work from there, filling in the spaces....can you see the £ sign?...or an L shape...??

There are lots of nice youtubes on zendoodling if you want to have a go.

The sun is shining today but it is very windy and cold and there are big waves on the sea...winter is looming....!!!

Something different today....a zendoodle....I started by drawing a butterfly and then filled in the rest with pen and ink.....It was fun to do and made a nice change from painting.

Got my washing machine fixed yesterday ...thank goodness for that....the washing is piling up!!
Looking forward to a nice lie in tomorrow. I usually get treated to breakfast in bed on a Saturday, so here's hoping !!!
It is wet and grey outside...a good day to be doing more painting I think....
I have a cartoon which has been ordered, so I must get on with that and then I want to paint some more aceos for ebay.

Here is another encaustic painting from me.

Today I went to Age Concern to help, as the manager of the day centre is on holiday and they are short staffed. I helped serve the dinners and got a freebie lunch !!! Very nice it was too.

I am a trustee on the board for the local Age Concern and we are taking it in turns to help out.

The encaust painting was done by first rubber stamping the fairy and then painting the rest with coloured was....

Wax makes such beautiful patterns and images.

Another mermaid from me today....this one is also in water colours and is a 4 x 6 painting. I hope to list it on ebay soon.

Today is my daughter's birthday and we are all going out for a meal in Mumbles. The restaurant is on a cliff top overlooking the sea, so it will be lovely sitting there admiring the view.

the rain is back !!!!I have been taking pics of some of my aceos today and here is one that I did earlier this year. It is of dragonflies and butterflies. I will list it on ebay later in the week and then if it doesn't sell it will go into my etsy shop.

I have had to get some boxes to put items in...otherwise I will never remember what is listed in which place !!!! At least it is keeping me busy and out of mischief (well almost !!)

I am enjoying painting again. Here is a painting of a mermaid that I did earlier this year and hope to list on ebay shortly. I love drawing faces more than anything else and love purples and blues (can't you just tell??)

here is a cartoon that I did yesterday....pen and ink and then painted it.

Today I went on a coach trip to Worcester. It was a lovely shopping centre and I had a fabulous carvery dinner in a restaurant called Cafe Vienna. not only did I have almost half a chicken, but also, roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, stuffing a yorkshire pudding, cabbage, carrots, swede, broccoli and cauliflower and parsnips.....wow....

My husband had a salad and had every salad item imagineble which included pickled onions, orange and a strawberry and some melon !!!!

Got up at 6 am this morning and didn't get home until gone 9 this evening. I am shattered !!!

An early night for me and I am having a lie in tomorrow !!

I used to do a lot of these cards with sewing and knitting...I think i will do one next for people who do rubber stamping. I did one for the lady in our local craft shop and it is now framed and hanging in her shop which is great !!

More clouds in the sky today.....it has been lovely the last couple of days.....but I suppose more than a few days of sunshine in the UK is too much to hope for...

Well it is the first of September and I am busy painting and making cards ready for Halloween and hopefully an early Christmas rush! I have three pictures listed on ebay now and am hoping for at least one sale. I have also taken a picture of another painting that I might list later on ebay.
